The autumn and winter season, and especially Christmas is a busy time for Pilola. This keeps me busy creating flyers, posters and magazine advertisements!
The poster graphics here were created for the Wokingham Lifestyle Magazine and a pop-up shop at Pulse 8, Sindlesham in Wokingham.

Amigurumi by Pilola
Amigurumi (lit. Knitted stuffed toy) is the Japanese art of knitting or crocheting small stuffed animals and anthropomorphic creatures. The word is derived from a combination of the Japanese words ami, meaning crocheted or knitted, and nuigurumi, meaning stuffed doll.

More iCushions added to the Pilola range
More iCushions have been added to the range of Pilola mobile phone and iPod accessories. Following the launch of this wonderful product last month, interest in the cool pyramid shaped stand has rocketed. Although targeted at all smartphones, MP3 players and tablet computers, it has been the iPhone, iPod and iPad owners who have really been attracted to the iCushion.
The iCushion is constructed from durable fabric and filled with a mix of wadding and natural and synthetic beans that makes the stand soft to the touch with weight to keep your mobile device safely in an upright position. A simple design, but so effective!

Why all this advertising on a photography and design web site? Well, I took the product photographs and do all the promotion and marketing design! The Pilola iCushion product photographs were taken using a white popup tent and portable studio lighting, with minor brightness and exposure enhancements in Photoshop.

Christmas day is made even more special with a hand crafted patchwork and quilted Christmas table runner made to a very high standard using top quality vibrant and colourful fabrics from Moda. This product is handmade by Sue Parker and sold exclusively through the Pilola enterprise. This table runner has been made in the red, green and ivory colourway. Each runner featured on Folksy is unique so I am sure you will find a colour combination to suit your Christmas colour theme.
Each table runner is interlined with cotton wadding, backed with ivory cotton and is hand finished in a complementary fabric. The appliqué design is hand embroidered in red to pick out the colour in the patterned fabrics.

The stocking is fully lined in a complementary fabric and interlined with cotton batting.
